Gimik Weekends

Last December 1-3, Jed, AJ, Xtiane and I pushed through with the long awaited Vigan trip. That time, storm Reming (international name Durian) was supposed to directly hit Manila, so at first, we were hesitant to continue the trip to Vigan. But knowing ourselves as "mga dakilang pasaway", we just decided to push through with the trip. To hell with Reming, tuloy ang ligaya sa Vigan! Wahaha! Lucky for us, Reming got diverted south so it didn't really hit Manila. However, I don't think it's a good think since a lot of damages were dealt along the south area of the Philippines. We left on the night of November 30 and got to Vigan by Friday, 6 AM.

Here are some pictures from the Vigan trip:
Friday:
At the house: (antok lahat...)

Baluarte Zoo: (daming animals...)

Hidden Garden: (daming plants...)

Pottery: (daming pots...)

Crisologo Street (daming old houses...)

Cafe Leona: (daming food...)

Saturday:
Pottery part 2: (AJ's pot-making attempt)

Playa de Oro Resort: (Laki ng waves!)

Uno Grille: (kababuyan!)

Sunday:
Trip home: (deluxe bus)

And the best Weekend Escape Group Vigan trip picture:

Hay, gimik galore mehn. It was the best, it was a simple out of town trip that cost us a lot of money, but in return, the trip was tons of fun. The food was great, the place was memorable and cultural, and most of all, the hangout group I was with was awesome. Kulitan at patabaan to the max.
